Man on the Moon.

I remember watching the moon landing all those years ago, and in total wonderment I blurted out "what on earth?" A rather silly comment, I know, and my husband quickly added,"no, what on moon?"

Isn't it interesting how we remember every detail of such moments in our life? The whole world was watching. Imagine the feeling of the astronaut looking back at the earth from the moon? How insignificant he must have felt seeing planet Earth so positioned in outer space, how humbling to see God's creation and know He allowed him, a mere man, such a great moment... to view the earth from God's vantage point!

Some have gone to space and seen the result of chance, while others have seen the handiwork of God. On this day 40 years ago, it was a small step for man, a giant leap for mankind.

"The earth is the Lord's and everything in it; the world and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters". Psalm 24:1. "Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting you are God". Psalm 90:2
